About Stripe

Stripe is seeking an Account Executive for SMB (Existing Business) to manage and grow a portfolio of existing Stripe customers in the small and medium business segment. In this role you will drive renewals, identify expansion opportunities, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver payments solutions that help merchants scale. This is a quota-driven, high-velocity sales role that requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of SMB Stripe customers with existing contracts; drive renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop strategic account plans, forecast pipeline, and close deals to achieve quota.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored payments solutions and promote product adoption.
  • Build long-term relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and account notes in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an Account Executive or in a sales role, preferably in SaaS or payments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota with SMB customers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Stripe or the payments ecosystem is a plus.
