Overview
Stripe is seeking an Account Executive, Platforms, Hunter to lead new business development in the New York and Bay Area markets. In this hunter role, you will identify, pursue, and close platform opportunities that expand Stripe's payments platform among developers, fintechs, and enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for platform opportunities.
- Identify and qualify target logos, build pipeline, and close strategic platform partnerships.
- Collaborate with Product, Partnerships, and Legal to shape deals and terms.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and value propositions to C-level and functional buyers.
- Forecast accurately and manage stakeholders across Stripe's platform ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise software or payments sales experience, preferably in platform ecosystems.
- Proven track record as a hunter closing large deals and building long-term relationships.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate with developers and business buyers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel between New York and the Bay Area as needed.
