Strategic Relationship Manager - Crypto

📋 Description

• Own the crypto vertical and relationships that define it
• Set strategy for how Mercury serves crypto-native businesses
• Serve as primary relationship owner for Mercury's high-value crypto accounts
• Manage and grow Mercury's crypto partner ecosystem
• Drive adoption and expansion
• Build playbooks, workflows, and tooling to scale the crypto motion

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years in customer success or fintech account management with high-value books
• Deep fluency in crypto ecosystems: exchanges, stablecoins, payments, custody, treasury
• Knowledge of crypto banking regulation: BSA/AML, KYC; able to speak with CFOs and founders
• Experience owning or shaping a vertical or coverage model with strategy and playbooks
• Clear, confident communication with finance leaders, founders, and execs
• Comfort with AI to build automated operational workflows

Nice to have

• Direct experience with a crypto-native company (exchange, issuer, custody, payments, or fund)
• Background in commercial banking or treasury management with Mercury's product fluency
• Crypto community network and reputation as a trusted partner
• Experience designing customer success playbooks and coverage models for a new vertical
