Strategic Operations Lead - Credit and Lending

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end tech programs powering Mercury's lending products.
• Align Engineering, Product, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and Operations.
• Set strategy, surface tradeoffs, and sequence critical paths across teams.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory milestones from day one.
• Drive incident learnings into design, tests, and runbooks.
• Build and improve operating systems for credit and lending decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in program or technical program mgmt in regulated/high-growth settings.
• Direct experience in financial services, fintech, or credit infrastructure.
• Own programs with multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional accountability.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives.
• Bonus: familiarity with lending tooling like loan origination and credit risk systems.
