- Provide strategic/operational planning across joint/interagency missions (ops, logistics, intel, cyber).
- Conduct detailed operational planning to develop options, identify resources, and assess risks.
- Apply the APEX system and JOPP to support planning for the full range of operations.
- Develop, analyze, and refine COAs, including assumptions, risks, and mitigations.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating operational plans, concept plans, orders, and briefings.
- Ensure planning products are coherent, feasible, acceptable, and aligned with priorities.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of experience; 5 years relevant experience.
- Education equivalences: HS +13y; Associate +11y; Master's +7y; PhD +5y.
- Demonstrated experience supporting joint, operational, or strategic planning in military/government.
- Working knowledge of joint planning doctrine, processes, and terminology.
- Experience applying APEX and JOPP in operational or contingency planning contexts.
- Strong analytical skills; clear written and verbal communication; able to work in high tempo environments.
