Strategic Finance Business Partner – Product & Engineering

📋 Description

• Act as the Finance Partner to Product and Engineering, supporting planning and decisions.
• Drive the R&D and cloud hosting (COGS) budget process into an integrated plan.
• Analyze monthly cost variances and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Own the product-level P&L framework and QBRs; surface unit economics.
• Lead financial modeling for product initiatives including M&A opportunities.
• Build forward-looking insights with Pigment; explore AI in finance to improve decision velocity.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of finance experience, including FP&A or finance/ops roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Forward-thinking with ability to translate data into clear narratives.
• Experience in a SaaS business model; global company is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business; CPA/CFA asset; proficient with Pigment/Adaptive.
