Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in highly responsive and scalable web applications development. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our development team, driving the creation of innovative products and features to address industry-specific challenges.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of new features and products, leveraging expertise in React, Node.js and latest cutting edge technologies within the software industry.
• Spearhead infrastructural changes, setup, and development for our software. CI/CD, AWS EC2 instances, lambdas, etc.
• Address internal bugs and customer-reported issues promptly, ensuring high-quality, bug-free code that aligns with industry standards.
• Identify technical debt within the system and devise strategic plans for resolution and implementation to enhance our marine solutions.
• Mentor and guide team members, providing technical leadership and support while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct unit and functional testing to ensure robustness and reliability of developed solutions.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, employing analytical thinking to tackle complex challenges.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack JavaScript/Typescript development.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
