Why this role matters

As a Junior Product Designer at Stora, you'll be involved in many aspects of the business, from product development to marketing. You'll help design and set up new customer storefronts, work with our product and engineering teams to contribute to new features and refine existing ones, and assist with our marketing website to help attract potential customers worldwide.

This role offers significant growth opportunities. You'll work closely with our Head of Product and Senior Designers, receiving rapid feedback and support as you develop your skills.

What you’ll do

• Set up and style new customer storefronts using our internal tools

• Help evolve and maintain our component libraries and templates

• Work on our marketing site and broader product

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

• Contribute to user research and help turn insight into design

• Support the design team across projects as needed

What we’re looking for

• A good design eye and attention to detail

• Familiar with Figma

• Basic HTML/CSS skills (or keen to learn)

• Able to take direction and work independently

• Organised, efficient, and reliable

• Based in Northern Ireland

Bonus points for

• Experience with SaaS products or websites

• Familiarity with design systems or templating tools

• Work examples that show good visual judgment

Location

Stora have a distributed team across the UK and Europe. We also have an office in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which local team members use regularly. A few times a year, we bring the full team together for in-person meet-ups, team activities, and planning sessions.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in our Belfast, Northern Ireland office.
