Stitch Fix is seeking a Software Engineer, Inventory to help design and build scalable software for our inventory systems. This remote role is based in the United States. You will collaborate with product and data teams to improve stock planning, replenishment, and fulfillment.

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, Inventory you will contribute to the development and maintenance of critical inventory platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and accuracy across Stitch Fix’s stock and fulfillment processes. You will write high-quality code, participate in design reviews, and work with cross-functional teams to drive impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain inventory software components and services.
• Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Write clean, testable code, perform unit/integration tests, and participate in code reviews.
• Monitor system health, diagnose issues, and implement improvements for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence in a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with APIs and cloud platforms.
• Good problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills.
