Overview
The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner at Stitch Fix is a trusted HR advisor who partners with business leaders to align people strategies with business goals, drive the employee experience, and support performance and talent development. This on-site role collaborates with cross-functional partners to diagnose people needs and implement effective HR programs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to understand business goals and translate them into effective people plans.
- Coach managers on performance management, employee development, and conflict resolution.
- Lead talent development initiatives, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Support policy interpretation, compliance with employment laws, and HR policy implementation.
- Manage or support employee relations matters and investigations as needed.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Recruiting, HRIS, and Total Rewards to execute programs.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and foster an inclusive culture.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Assist with organizational design and change management initiatives as required.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/PHR) is preferred.
- Several years of HRBP or HR generalist experience with a track record of partnering with business leaders.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience with HRIS, HR analytics, and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills; ability to handle confidential information.
- Retail or consumer services experience is a plus.
