State and Local Tax (SALT) Credits & Incentives Manager

📋 Description

• Identifying, qualifying, and calculating tax credits and other incentives.
• Advising on location strategy decisions and related credits/incentives.
• Communicating with project stakeholders and economic development reps.
• Serve as a thought leader in the SALT practice and stay current on developments.
• Participate in staff recruiting and mentor staff members.
• Play a key role in new business development and client growth.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of multistate experience with a focus on credits and incentives.
• Licensure: CPA, Enrolled Agent, CEcD, CREA, or CCIP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience advising on credits, incentives, and location strategy.
