📋 Description

  • Accounting close & reporting using Xero/Dext: monthly close & reconciliations.
  • Tax & compliance: data provision, outputs review, and calendar management with tax advisor.
  • Payroll: monthly submissions via Deel across 16 countries and 3 engagement models.
  • Corporate governance: maintain share register, AGM materials, and board packs.
  • Treasury operations: bank transfers, liquidity planning, and term deposits.
  • Vendor payments & AP: weekly cycles, vendor files, and approvals.
  • Audit support: prep documentation and liaise with auditors.

🎯 Requirements

  • Around 4 years experience: 1-2 years Big4/mid-tier audit, plus 2-3 years startup accounting ownership.
  • Professional German, spoken and written.
  • German HGB and/or Swiss OR; UK compliance a plus.
  • Hands-on with finance tools: Xero, invoicing tools, banking platforms; Deel payroll.
  • Process-improvement mindset.
