Staff Strategy Analyst

📋 Description

• Own the Strategy team's analytical agenda and questions.
• Deliver executive-ready strategic insights to leadership.
• Translate SaaS metrics into clear narratives for decisions.
• Scope requests; determine approach and route to specialists.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers for reliable data.
• Align data with Dick's Sporting Goods reporting where relevant.

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10+ years in analytics, data strategy, or business insights.
• Proven track record advising senior executives and presenting to C-suite.
• Executive presence: polished communicator in unscripted exec settings.
• Business strategy orientation first, technical depth second.
• Deep SaaS subscription metrics: funnel, retention, pricing, LTV.
• SQL proficiency (window functions, CTEs) and modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Looker).
• Ability to prioritize in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Experience in product-led SaaS environments.
