Evaluate and productionize Kafka features (tiered storage, direct-to-S3) for cost efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

Staff-level with 10+ years building/operating large-scale production systems.
Technical lead experience on distributed systems and scaling in fast-moving environments.
Hands-on with Kafka, Pulsar, Flink, or Pinot; operate streaming tech at scale.
Comfortable operating with high autonomy and ownership.
Growth mindset; learn quickly, handle ambiguity, and build/operate control planes.
Strong written and verbal communication; produce clear technical docs.
