Staff Software Engineer, Shopper Activation & Engagement

📋 Description

• Define and drive architecture for activation domain at scale.
• Lead onboarding funnel, waitlist, incentives, and supply levers.
• Deliver compliance and vendor initiatives with privacy-first systems.
• Run large cross-functional programs; manage risk and dependencies.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and coding standards.
• Improve reliability, performance, and cost; enforce SLOs and security.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering with large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years owning end-to-end architecture for a domain.
• Proficient in Go/Java/Python and cloud infra (AWS or GCP).
• Experience with Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Hands-on AI tooling and integrating AI into dev workflows.
• Designing compliant identity/eligibility systems with privacy and security.
