Staff Software Engineer, Partnerships

📋 Description

• Lead architecture for the Partnerships platform.
• Own and evolve architecture across identity, cart, checkout, and partner orchestration.
• Define boundaries between partner-facing and internal systems for fast launches.
• Drive the transition from broad backend surface to a coherent platform.
• Platformize partnership constructs with reusable APIs, services, and workflows.
• Drive cross-org alignment with Identity, Payments, Cart, Checkout, Fulfillment, and Marketing.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building large-scale backend or full-stack systems in a lead/staff role.
• Designing platforms or integration frameworks with reusable contracts.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and APIs: boundaries, data modeling, reliability.
• Mentor engineers across levels.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, design, data, and partner eng teams.
• Experience leading partner integrations across multiple partners/domains.
