Staff Software Engineer - ML Engineering

📋 Description

• Define long-term roadmap for Applied AI; choose between LLMs, classical ML, or hybrid.
• Lead production-grade Agentic workflows and RAG systems.
• Own GenAI modeling for Revenue: Forecasting, Deal Health, Churn.
• Bridge research to production; write reusable Python code and eval frameworks.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to translate goals into specs.
• Mentor data scientists and foster rapid experimentation with engineering discipline.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in Data Science/ML; staff/lead experience preferred.
• Classical ML (XGBoost, Causal Inference), time-series, and DL fundamentals.
• GenAI in production; LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy; Pinecone.
• Engineering focus: Python and SQL; production-ready, modular, tested, typed.
• System design: end-to-end ML systems; trade-offs on cost/latency.
• MS or PhD in CS/Stats/Math or equivalent preferred.
