Staff Software Engineer, Merchants & Ads Review

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end delivery for cross-team initiatives—from framing to rollout.
• Build ML/GenAI-assisted review experiences for merchants, ads, and advertisers with guardrails.
• Mentor engineers and raise standards for design, quality, and production readiness.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve platform safety, efficiency, and revenue.
• Use AI to accelerate work across exploration, drafting, analysis, and synthesis with validation.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience at Staff/Senior Staff or equivalent IC.
• Strong track record in ads, commerce, trust & safety, or GenAI.
• Deep experience in systems design, full-stack engineering, and data-intensive systems.
• Experience building or partnering on ML/AI/GenAI-adjacent systems with responsible deployment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction without owning every detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
