Staff Software Engineer, Ground & Control Services (On-Prem)

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain software for autonomous satellite ops.
• Integrate services with ground station infrastructure and comm protocols.
• Build software to support satellite tasking and monitoring.
• Collaborate with ops, comms, flight software, and planning teams.
• Write clean code with emphasis on safety, tests, and reliability.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and planning.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or C++.
• Experience deploying microservices in cloud and on-prem Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and Git.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to understand complex systems end to end.
