Design, build, and scale RDBMS and NoSQL systems to meet high ingest and analytic load.
Lead cross-functional projects addressing data persistence, migration, and scaling.
Architect scale-out strategies, including sharding across clusters.
Build automation and tooling (IaC) to improve efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with Architects, Product, and Data Science to design distributed systems.
Maintain data backbone with high availability, backups, and disaster recovery.

🎯 Requirements

8+ years building and managing large-scale cloud apps (AWS/GCP).
RDBMS and NoSQL expertise: PostgreSQL, MySQL/Aurora, MongoDB, Cassandra.
Automation & IaC: Terraform, Ansible.
Coding in Python or Java; shell scripting.
HA and failover experience; Patroni a plus.
Sharding and scaling: PostgreSQL with Citus; other tech.
