Staff Software Engineer, Audit (Full Stack)

📋 Description

• Set technical direction for agentic financial audit experiences (autonomy, reliability, auditability)
• Own the most complex, ambiguous engineering problems and drive to resolution
• Design and build agent-driven workflows; decide where AI autonomy applies vs human oversight
• Partner with product/design to shape what we build; contribute early to roadmap
• Mentor engineers via code reviews, pairing, and clear problem solving
• Contribute to interview process and raise hiring standards

🎯 Requirements

• A seasoned full-stack engineer with a track record of driving large, complex projects from an ambiguous problem to production
• Experienced in setting technical direction at the team or org level, not just delivering within it
• Comfortable operating where requirements are unclear and the right answer isn't obvious
• A strong technical collaborator who influences product and design decisions
• Already using AI coding tools as part of your workflow, and thoughtful about where agentic approaches create leverage
• Able to build deep domain knowledge quickly and understand financial auditing well enough to make the right technical calls within months
