Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Scale the Core UX team and solve top customer experience challenges.
• Build across the stack with Ruby on Rails, React, and React Native.
• Partner with product/design/data to shape solutions from concept to launch.
• Turn ambiguous problems into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
• Mentor engineers and raise quality across the team.
• Define engineering practices and drive technical direction.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building and scaling customer-facing apps; strong React and Rails.
• Experience with or interest in React Native for mobile apps.
• Strong API design and distributed systems experience; cloud (AWS or GCP).
• Proficient with modern tooling and AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Claude).
• Experience in ambiguous/early-stage product environments shaped by feedback.
• Proven track record leading complex, high-impact initiatives end-to-end.
