Staff Site Reliability Engineer-Federal, Security Clearance

📋 Description

• Manage operational tasks for products in US Government classified environments, including deployments, on-call duties, incident management, and deployment syncs
• Oversee all cloud infrastructure components such as AWS, private cloud environments, containers, and VMs to ensure stability and scalability
• Develop scripts, containerized services, and monitoring mechanisms to automate operations tasks and minimize service disruption
• Build new and enhance existing services within classified environments while driving DevOps best practices through documentation and escalation management
• Provide 24x7 coverage including night and holiday shifts within a SCIF environment to support critical government missions

🎯 Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance with ability to maintain it throughout employment
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; 5+ years SRE in ops and engineering
• Linux admin, network troubleshooting, and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
• Strong Python and container-based architectures including AWS ECS and Kubernetes
• Monitoring: vulnerability scanning, patch management, and reporting; virtualization and web security
• Experience in air-gapped and classified environments syncing monthly monitoring
• FedRAMP High/Moderate familiarity and compliance needs
• Info Assurance Technician Level 2 or Top Secret clearance
