Staff Security Engineer, Threat Detection & Response

📋 Description

• Lead development and implementation of security strategies and policies.
• Architect and design secure systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement security controls, monitoring, and response mechanisms.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security throughout the SDLC.
• Lead incident response for breaches, including containment and remediation.
• Identify and assess security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, IT or equivalent.
• 8-10+ years in security engineering.
• Expertise: firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, vulnerability mgmt.
• Experience with cloud security, network security, app security; IAM.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
