Staff Security Engineer, Secure Digital Asset Operations

📋 Description

• Secure digital assets: Develop, implement, document, and manage processes to catalogue and secure the handling and storage of digital assets.
• Continuously enhance security posture: Drive security risk assessments of digital asset safeguards and implement improvements with Security and cross-functional partners.
• Effectively communicate security posture: Develop methods to measure, supervise, and communicate security posture to key partners.
• Evangelize security best practices: Raise awareness and educate teams to secure Ripple and digital assets.
• Guide strategy: Advise on security methodologies, tooling decisions, and vendor integrations to improve the security posture.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in information security for digital assets (crypto/Web3).
• Knowledge of key management, cryptography, and secure key lifecycle.
• Hands-on with digital asset wallets (Software/Hardware/MPC/MultiSig) and offline laptops.
• Experience handling sensitive work with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communicator for stakeholders and docs.
• Comfort with ambiguity and prioritizing multiple tasks.
