Staff Risk Analyst

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis and deep dives on complex risk problems to inform decisions.
• Develop and execute strategies to mitigate ATO and other fraud risks.
• Implement real-time fraud defenses using behavioral biometrics, device intelligence, and ML models.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data science teams on security and trust goals.
• Develop secure user experiences with fast, seamless access and recovery for legitimate users.
• Lead incident response during significant fraud events and post-mortem initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on risk experience in e-commerce or financial services.
• 4+ years fighting ATO and scams in Fraud, Trust & Safety, Risk, or Security.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze large datasets and drive investigations.
• Professional experience using SQL and Python.
• BI tools like Looker and Tableau.
• Ability to independently scope and deliver complex analytics with cross-functional partners.
• Understanding blockchain analytics and crypto fraud trends.
• Nice-to-have: Databricks experience.
