- Pragmatic and outcome-focused
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable guiding engineers through ambiguity
- Experienced in providing team-wide technical leadership without formal management responsibilities
- Knowledge of code quality, system security, and modern software lifecycle best practices
