Staff Product Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Threat model application designs and assess security risk.
• Collaborate with PMs/designers/engineers to threat model secure systems.
• Identify trade-offs to balance functionality and security requirements.
• Provide hands-on remediation guidance to development teams.
• Design internal tooling to provide secure-by-default configurations.
• Write robust Go and Python software; frontend as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading architectural changes or cross-team security mitigations.
• Clearly communicate security topics (OWASP Top Ten) to product teams.
• Partner with internal engineers to tackle security across the stack with empathy.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, containers, and CI/CD.
• 6+ years guiding software teams on secure architecture design.
• 5+ years software engineering with security focus; Go/Python/JavaScript; robust tests.
