Staff Product Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Partner with engineers to assess security risk of new products and features.
• Oversee Secure Design and Security Platform teams.
• Guide secure architecture design and reduce security risk.
• Empower engineers to make informed security decisions.
• Collaborate to drive secure-by-default practices.
• Build secure-by-default guardrails and scalable tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• Lead architectural changes to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Communicate security topics clearly, incl. OWASP Top Ten.
• Partner with internal engineering teams across the stack.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, containerization, and CI/CD.
• Go, Python, and JavaScript development experience.
• Experience writing or reviewing threat models and misuse cases.
• Familiarity with hardware and software supply chain security.
• Know-how with gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Vault, and GitHub Actions.
