Staff Product Manager, Kafka Connect

📋 Description

• Own the success of a major product initiative from concept to growth.
• Serve as the trusted resource across engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
• Enable enterprise-grade integration between Kafka and external systems.
• Support on-premise deployments and managed services in Confluent Cloud.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years experience as a software product manager, ideally for an Enterprise technical product
• Empathy for enterprise customers, and a hands-on approach
• Ability to craft product strategy and roadmap with customers, engineering, and go-to-market teams
• Excellent communication; distill technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Strong technical competency in distributed data systems, public/private clouds, and stream processing
• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical field
