Staff Product Designer, Handshake AI

📋 Description

• Partner with product, eng, data, research, and ops to define operator independence.
• Develop strategic product visions and sequence into pragmatic phases.
• Collaborate with Model Enablement and Fellow Experience squads.
• Partner with operations to study workflows, run pilots, and translate insights.
• Tackle complex, ambiguous human-centered problems and translate into simple solutions.
• Own end-to-end design—from concept to production—with research, journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally in enterprise or ops tooling.
• Strong communicator who articulates design decisions and tradeoffs.
• Deep visual and interaction design expertise with measurable impact.
• Experience designing complex systems with many stakeholders.
• Highly collaborative; values diverse perspectives in design.
• Design-led thinker embedding design thinking in daily work.
• Impact-driven with ruthless prioritization.
• Hands-on and ownership-driven.
• Motivated by Handshake’s mission; humble and curious.
• Bonus: operator/driver management or internal tools experience.
