Staff Product Designer, Admin

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end design for the Admin Platform: settings, IAM, billing, policy surfaces, cross-product admin workflows
• Ensure admins can manage orgs across every Docker product surface without seams
• Identify admin UX debt and drive it into the roadmap
• Partner with Eng and PM to ensure coherent integration with the admin platform
• Use AI tools for prototyping, synthesis, and iteration
• Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, security, and legal on admin design direction

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record designing admin, settings, or operations surfaces (IAM, billing, policy UI)
• Experience designing cross-product systems with coherent connective tissue
• Deep familiarity with developer tools, platforms, or infrastructure products
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills; synthesize telemetry, support, and sales data
• Prototyping fluency; show thinking early and iterate in the open
• Ability to form strong opinions on new tech domains quickly (AI tooling, containerized environments)
