Staff Observability Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and mature the observability stack across platforms.
• Deliver deep visibility by combining system telemetry with user signals.

• Hands-on role partnering with engineering and product teams.
• Lead monitoring, incident management, and postmortems; enable self-service tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on observability/SRE/platform engineering with cross-team impact.
• Expertise in monitoring/observability; Datadog hands-on.
• Experience defining and driving observability or reliability strategies.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform (IaC).
• Influence tech direction; strong fundamentals in Go/Java/Python/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems; SLOs/SLIs and alerting.
