Staff NPI Project Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end intro of mechanical product and process changes to the line (battery pack focus)
• Map changes to the production line, identifying risks to quality, throughput, and schedule
• Lead production trials for new or modified designs — define plans, criteria, timing, outcomes
• Coordinate cutover planning across engineering, supply chain, warehouse, and production
• Translate changes into MES language: work orders, Oracle, BOM/routing updates
• Partner with the TPM to maintain change visibility, milestones, and cross-functional alignment on NPI

🎯 Requirements

• 6–10 years in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or ECM in high-complexity production
• Experience managing product/process changes into live line, incl. trial execution, change control, cutover
• Hands-on with ERP systems (Oracle preferred): work orders, BOM management, routing
• Mechanical systems intuition; read drawings; pack/module assembly; assess impact
• Ability to work independently in ambiguity and build structure
• Excellent cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, warehouse, and production
