Staff Mobile Engineer, iOS

📋 Description

• Tackle complex mobile challenges with thoughtful design and planning.
• Serve as technical lead on major iOS initiatives, architecture, and refactoring.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership on mobile direction and architecture.
• Drive improvements to code quality, performance, stability, and build health.
• Partner with product and UX to ensure usability and accessibility in iOS.
• Write high-quality, testable iOS code and mentor others via reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development, incl. mobile apps at senior level.
• Deep experience with Swift and iOS frameworks.
• Expertise with mobile architectures, platform constraints, and iOS lifecycle.
• Proven experience leading complex mobile work and architecture; able to mentor.
• Strong practices in system design, testing, releases; mobile security and privacy.
• Experience with RSS/IMAP/POP or Matrix.
• Familiarity with CalDAV/CardDAV.
• Git and CI workflows, code reviews, collaboration.
• Excellent communication and documentation for distributed teams.
