Staff Mechanisms Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and test Terran R mechanisms and flight structures.
• Collaborate with structures, avionics, fluids, and manufacturing teams.
• Deliver on time and budget; own projects from concept through flight.
• Work on stage separation, payload deployment, aero control and landing gear.
• Refine designs for manufacturability and speed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years in full-cycle design engineering (CAD/analysis/build/test).
• Knowledge of kinematic synthesis, pneumatic/hydraulic actuation, mechatronics, instrumentation.
• Knowledge of structures strength, stability, fatigue failure modes.
• Experience with NX, TeamCenter, Ansys or Femap; Python or MATLAB.
• Hands-on hardware build, problem-solving, strong communication.
