Staff Mechanical Engineer, Dimensional Management

📋 Description

• Establish a standardized process and strategy for dimensional management
• Build framework for interface control documentation and lead adoption
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and perform tolerance analysis across levels
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Integration engineers on challenging interfaces
• Partner with Form Factory to supplement dimensional models with build data
• Mentor engineers on GD&T best practices and trainings

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 8+ years in mechanical design, GD&T, interface control, and dimensional management
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams on interface control and documentation
• Experience working with production/manufacturing teams on dimensional management
• Demonstrated experience optimizing mechanical designs for 100% first-time yield
• Direct experience in product development in an early-stage environment
