Staff Machine Learning Engineer, AI Research

📋 Description

• Design, train, and evaluate ML models across research and applied AI.
• Run rapid experiments to test hypotheses and surface insights.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to productionize advances.
• Build and maintain ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, evaluation.
• Tune model performance via fine tuning, hyperparameter search.
• Document findings and share learnings with the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in CS/Math/Stats with 5+ years experience (MS/PhD a plus)
• Deep hands-on experience training and evaluating ML models, incl language models
• Strong Python and ML frameworks: PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Familiarity with MLOps tools: MLflow, Weights & Biases, Kubeflow
• Solid understanding of NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning techniques
• Move fast without sacrificing rigor; know when to prototype vs productionize
