📋 Description

• Define technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmaps for ML systems.
• Architect system-level ML solutions for large-scale data mining and real-time inference.
• Drive cross-functional execution and align partner roadmaps across teams.
• Elevate engineering standards for ML design, testing, and deployment.
• Apply broad ML toolkit to solve complex, ambiguous problems and unblock teams.
• Mentor engineers, lead architectural reviews, and raise Motional’s engineering culture.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in CS/ML or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years hands-on ML engineering, owning architecture and deployment.
• Experience deploying multimodal foundation models in production across modalities.
• Proven technical leadership: roadmaps, multi-person initiatives, strategy.
• Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX); CI/CD and containerization.
• Cloud deployment: AWS, GCP, or Azure; optimize latency and throughput.
• Mentor peers and drive consensus across teams.
