Staff Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and lead the technical vision for Cresta's Agentic AI systems.
• Architect scalable production-grade LLMs with retrieval and real-time decisions.
• Design multi-agent orchestration using RAG and domain-adapted models.
• Establish best practices for robust, cost-efficient LLM systems in production.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive AI strategy and roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/Math; Masters/PhD preferred.
• 7+ years building and deploying ML systems in production.
• Leadership in architecting AI systems (agentic/multi-step workflows).
• Deep expertise in transformers, embeddings, retrieval, and RAG.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks and monitoring for LLMs.
• Strong systems thinking: scalability, latency, security, maintainability.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face; cloud infrastructure.
