Staff Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, develop, deploy multi-turn LLM features with clinician-facing agents.
• Own Python backend services integrating LLM agents with the platform for production use.
• Define prompting, grounding, safety, and orchestration strategies across clinical AI workflows.
• Establish evaluation approaches for LLM outputs (accuracy, hallucinations, edge cases, quality).
• Shape engineering patterns for model workflows (testing, CI/CD, observability, versioning).
• Stay current with latest LLM research and assess applicability at Fullscript.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in production ML; strong experience with LLM-powered agents/conversational workflows.
• Proven track record owning complex technical problems end to end.
• Experience designing AI systems that answer open-ended questions and support follow-ups.
• Strong experience with LLM frameworks/tools (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).
• Familiarity with evaluation/monitoring frameworks for LLM outputs.
• Knowledge of MCP/agent orchestration patterns for multi-step AI systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Sound technical decisions on quality, safety, maintainability, and scalability in production AI.
• Strong communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
