Staff Engineer, Edge Systems Efficiency

📋 Description

• Work across layers from Linux kernel to edge systems (Varnish/WebAssembly).
• Use data-driven methods to identify and implement performance improvements.
• Write, test, and deploy C, Rust, and Go code.
• Enhance and optimize TCP and QUIC protocols for performance.
• Lead full lifecycle projects from design to deployment.
• Mentor engineers and foster knowledge sharing across the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Production experience with C, C++, and/or Rust.
• Experience with Linux systems and network programming.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining distributed infrastructure.
• Advanced Linux dev environment knowledge: git, compilers.
• Excellent communication; ability to document clearly and mentor.
