Staff Detection & Response Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead complex threat hunts and manage major security incidents
• Architect detection frameworks to protect Okta’s infrastructure
• Write detections and tackle complex querying challenges
• Influence the selection and architecture of security solutions
• Lead incidents including investigations in diverse environments
• Bridge exec leadership and technical teams on security priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a high-growth SaaS or security-focused environment
• Expertise in querying languages, MITRE ATT&CK, and IR toolsets
• Experience managing communications during crises or major incidents
• Leadership of project teams and budget/resource management
• Background automating response workflows and preventative controls
• Deep understanding of threat actor TTPs and threat hunting
