Staff Decision Scientist (Strategic Insights)

📋 Description

• Own the analytical narrative for your Operating Group across cross-functional teams.
• Tell stories that move teams to act with clear narratives and point of view.
• Establish causality with A/B testing, analytics, and causal inference; partner with Eng.
• Define metrics strategies and measurement frameworks for your OG.
• Build explanations on top of measurement, grounding in user motivations.
• Shape the AI-native analytics stack; drive self-serve analytics adoption.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in analytics, data science, or decision science at a consumer tech company.
• Advanced degree in economics, statistics, quantitative social science, or operations research, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated causal inference experience (diff-in-diff, IV, RD, synthetic controls).
• Track record of influencing product or business strategy through data with cross-functional impact.
• Experience with experimentation platforms (Statsig, Optimizely, or similar).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis.
