Staff Data Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Own data onboarding lifecycle for programs ramping to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM)
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines ingesting hardware data from wafer tests to system validation
• Build and maintain data models in dbt on Snowflake for analytics and AI/ML workflows
• Develop and operate orchestration workflows Dagster for reliable data delivery
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting for production programs
• Mentor junior team members and influence cross-functional data practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Photonics, Data Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, process engineering, test engineering, or related role in semiconductor, photonics, or hardware manufacturing
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster/Airflow, or similar modern data stack components
• Experience with data for hardware test, manufacturing, or characterization systems
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functional with technical teams and external partners to define data requirements and influence practices
