Staff Data Scientist - Fraud & Risk

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy deep learning models for fraud and risk.
• Build models from tabular data, NLP, and other modalities.
• Lead end-to-end ML lifecycle from data exploration to deployment.
• Own project outcomes, data quality, and delivery timelines.
• Mentor junior scientists and share knowledge across teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk to drive insights.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s/PhD in CS, Statistics, Applied Math, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years in data science, ML; fintech experience preferred.
• Experience in fraud prevention, risk modeling, or identity verification.
• Hands-on with deep learning models (transformers, CNNs, LSTMs).
• Experience with multi-modal data: tabular, text, images.
• Strong Python, SQL, and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
