Staff Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Leverage data to solve a wide range of meaningful business problems with appropriate complexity.
• Partner with Engineering, PM, and Care Operations to define strategy and execute.
• Design and implement robust frameworks and metrics to measure data products' impact.
• Research operational/logistical problems and proactively identify potential solutions.
• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of descriptive and predictive models.
• Champion LLM-driven workflows and collaborate with Engineering to productionize agent-based features.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience solving complex business problems, with Python in production.
• Strong foundation in traditional predictive ML (classification, regression, tree-based models like XGBoost) and know when to use standard models versus LLMs.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following: Optimization or Agentic AI.
• Excellent mathematical and statistical foundations; degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• You are able to manage product ambiguity and drive measurable outcomes.
• You rapidly iterate and deliver technical solutions that maximize business impact.
