- Lead design/implementation of shared data models and a semantic metrics layer.
- Standardize data engineering across ADE and analytics teams: pipelines, CI/CD, naming, standards.
- Partner with Data Infrastructure to modernize orchestration and secure dev/test environments.
- Architect shift-left governance with producers; set contracts, SLOs, and quality gates.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Product to translate metrics into reliable pipelines powering dashboards.
- Improve pipeline granularity, observability, and recovery; establish runbooks and alerts.
🎯 Requirements
- BS degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years in data/analytics engineering with increasing scope and leadership
- 12+ years SQL experience, incl. complex queries, window functions, Spark SQL
- 8+ years Python development, including production data pipelines
- Deep expertise in dimensional data modeling, schema design, scalable data architecture
- Strong experience with orchestration tools (Airflow) and dbt, incl. design and recovery
