Staff Cyber Resilience Engineer

📋 Description

• Own Recovery Architecture: design/build an isolated AWS recovery environment with immutable vaults.
• Lead transition to 100% IaC using Terraform for all assets.
• Threat model cloud environments: IAM, backups, ransomware, cross-account access.
• Build automated recovery workflows to tear down compromised envs and bootstrap clean data.
• Validate and improve backup configurations to ensure recoverability.
• Drive standardization and automation: promote IaC and immutable infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in complex cloud envs (AWS/GCP/Azure); 3+ yrs AWS; EKS/K8s a strong plus.
• Strong Terraform skills; modularize environments for environment-agnostic deployments.
• Hands-on with Secure Vault pattern: protect data in a restricted AWS account.
• Advanced shell scripting; Python or Go for automation of recovery tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Scalr, GitHub Actions) to enable recovery pipelines.
• Proven ability to engineer end-to-end restoration workflows and automated drills.
