- Strong Linux, distributed systems, networking; troubleshoot full stack (app → db → infra).
- Deep DB architecture knowledge: schema design, replication, sharding, backup/restore, performance tuning.
- Automation-minded; proficient in Python, Bash, or Go to automate DB operations.
- Bonus: open-source contributions; multi-cloud; IaC tools Terraform/Helm/Ansible.
